Age: 20 years old and above

Class ratio: minimum of two and maximum of four per location

Duration per session: five hours

  • The TCP offers young adults an opportunity to develop their skills and talents in their preferred areas of interest while, at the same time, exposes them to a wider community.
  • In the TCP, we will work on the intervention goals stated in the students’ respective individual plans and teach them skills related to functional academics and individual living. In meeting the students’ needs, our focus will be based on their strongest and weakest areas.
  • The following modules will form part of the TCP:

○ Independent Living Skills (IDL) / Reality of Life

○ Housekeeping Program

○ Barista Program

○ Reception Program

○ Cooking Program

○ Baking Program

○ Grilling Program

  • The program will be supervised as follows:

○ The IDL, which includes functional academics, life skills, and vocational skills, will be handled by a SPED teacher in collaboration with the students’ families to ensure that the skills that they will learn are transferred at home.

○ The Housekeeping Program, Barista Program, and Reception Program will be supervised by a Job Coach (ABAT or RBT) to ensure that the students learn new skills for their chosen endeavors and, at the same time, build connections with the community.
